In our second visit to Venice we will see an abundance of style and colour looking at the wonderful world of influential jewellers and glamorous ladies and their jewellery collections from the C18th to the present day. Venetian glass designer, Salviati, influenced not only Italian jewellery design but that of the British designer Robert Phillips of Cockspur Street. The works of Nardi and more contemporary designers will also be considered. From the influencers such as Countess Annina Morosini and Gabriele d’Annunzio who met at Café Florian to Giuliano Coen Camerino who created the elegant fashion label Roberta Di Camerino, we will delve into the world of glamour and sparkle so important in Venetian society.
