Two fabulous events to start the New Year! The return of our Gemstone Handling Day and a look at Elsa Schiaparelli’s outstanding jewellery designs, in anticipation of the new exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in March.

A Gem of a Day – Gemstone Handling 

Our Gemstone Days will be an exciting return to our handling sessions. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy looking at a variety of gemstones of different quality and cuts and look at how flaws effect value. Following a presentation on the gemstone market and what gems are top of the popularity list, you will be able to view and handle a large collection of gemstones and crystals being sold at Fieldings Auctioneers on the 12th February 2026.

Schiaparelli – A Woman of Creativity 

In anticipation of the ‘Schiaparelli Becomes Art’,  Exhibition at the V&A starting  in March 2026, we will look at the outstanding contribution Schiaparelli made to fashion and jewellery design. From her association with the Duchess of Windsor to the influence of Dali, this will be a wonderful, colourful and exciting start to 2026.

Lectures are individually priced at £47and include tea or coffee on arrival and a complimentary glass of fizz and sandwich lunch after the Talk.

The Gallery doors will open between 11am and 11.15am and the Talk will commence at 11.30am
